These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to InsightStack at https://www.insightstack.fyi. By using InsightStack, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
InsightStack provides software for designing and running consumer research studies, collecting participant responses (including video and voice interviews), analyzing results, and querying a workspace knowledge base. Features may change over time. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes according to your subscription and workspace permissions.
2. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
- Obtain all necessary consents, permissions, and legal bases before collecting participant or customer data through InsightStack, including privacy notices and recording consent where required.
- Not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.
- Not attempt to access other workspaces' data, reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by law, or interfere with security or availability.
3. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third parties (for example Google for optional sign-in or read-only Google Drive sync, cloud hosting, and AI providers). Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms. When you connect Google Drive, you authorize InsightStack to access only the read-only scopes shown on Google's consent screen for the folders and files you select.
4. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you upload or generate in your workspace. You grant InsightStack a license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service. InsightStack owns the platform, brand, and underlying software.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use InsightStack or connected APIs (including Google APIs) to create, promote, or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery, exploit minors, or violate applicable research ethics, privacy, or anti-spam laws.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." AI-generated summaries and probes are assistive; you are responsible for research decisions. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InsightStack will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid InsightStack in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you use a free tier.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
